Potassium permanganate is used extensively in the water treatment industry. It serves as a regeneration chemical to remove iron and hydrogen sulfide (rotten egg smell) from well water via a "Manganese Greensand" Filter. Additionally, it is used to treat wastewater and, historically, to disinfect drinking water. It currently finds application in controlling nuisance organisms, such as Zebra mussels, in fresh water collection and treatment systems.
Almost all applications of potassium permanganate exploit its oxidizing properties. As a strong oxidant that does not generate toxic byproducts, KMnO4 has many niche uses, including functioning as a fixative. The optimum conditions under which it is to be used can be easily established through technical service evaluations or laboratory testing.
Widely used for: Water Treatment, Municipal Wastewater Treatment, Metal Surface Treatment, Mining and Metallurgical, Chemical manufacture and processing.
Gas adsorbent: Adsorption of sulfur dioxide, chlorine, NX, hydrogen sulfide, and other gases.

Storage Notice: The product as desiccant cannot be exposed in the open air and should be stored in dry conditions with air-proof packaging.
JZ-M is a purifying desiccant that uses a special activated alumina carrier combined with potassium permanganate. It works by utilizing the strong oxidizing properties of potassium permanganate to decompose and reduce harmful gases in the air.
It is widely used in water treatment, municipal wastewater treatment, metal surface treatment, mining and metallurgy, chemical manufacturing and processing, and gas adsorption.
It is designed for the adsorption of harmful gases including sulfur dioxide, chlorine, NX, hydrogen sulfide, formaldehyde, and TVOCs, as well as for fruit preservation.
It acts as an oxidizing chemical to remove iron and hydrogen sulfide (which causes a rotten egg smell) from well water through filters, and is used to treat wastewater and control nuisance organisms.
It must not be exposed to the open air and should always be kept in dry conditions within air-proof packaging to maintain its efficacy.
The standard packaging is 30 kg per carton.
